Spent my young summers building fence, hauling hay or brush hogging. Made me strong and had pockets full of money to buy guns and stuff. I never realized till your post that it did indeed make free time more valuable. Even today I value time at home in the garden or in the pool after work. Thanks

Agreed! My mom always told me being idle is just asking for sin.

The proverbs teach that as well.

Agreed 100%. Or at least do something worthwhile :). I'm spending my summer alternating between a job, an intensive summer math class, and starting college classes. All of them good future investments with very high rates of return.

Lord willing, I plan to spend every summer accordingly from now on.
